Eating gluten-free is, in many cases, a choice imposed on certain people when they discover they are coeliac. However, more and more people are switching to a gluten-free diet out of conviction, in line with healthier eating habits. At Generation B you can eat gluten-free in Barcelona whatever your reason 😄, with a delicious gastronomic selection.
Let's get started!
Choosing to eat gluten-free makes sense
It has been proven that a gluten-free diet makes us feel lighter and improves digestion. Especially as we get older, not feeling bloated and being able to digest food without consequences is a great added value in terms of everyday well-being.
What's more, gluten-free options in Barcelona and elsewhere, are no longer bland and boring. At Generation B , we know better than anyone that eating healthily and gluten-free does not mean sacrificing flavour. We'll prove it to you in a moment 😉.
Benefits of a gluten-free diet in Barcelona
If living in or visiting Barcelona for a few days is good for your health, then eating gluten-free on a daily basis will make you feel twice as light, harmonious and happy.
Your digestion will thank you for it
By eliminating gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye), we will almost certainly notice a huge improvement in digestion. Why? Because we will have less intestinal inflammation and, consequently, less bloating and less gas. This is because, without gluten, our body will be able to better absorb nutrients and alleviate (possible) digestive symptoms.
It should be noted that a gluten-free diet cleverly encourages us to consume more natural foods that are unprocessed or almost unprocessed, which will always be beneficial for our metabolism and, therefore, our digestive health.
If you opt for gluten-free options in Barcelona, you will feel lighter and have much more energy 💪!
Real nutritional value
Gluten-free food tends to focus on fresh, natural ingredients such as vegetables, fruit, pulses, rice, corn, quinoa and nuts. At least, that's how we do it at Generation B.
What does this mean? It means we will be enjoying dishes rich in vitamins, minerals, plant proteins and fibre, which are essential for maintaining a complete nutritional balance. We are saying goodbye to ultra-processed foods and committing to authentic ingredients, cooked with care.
Guaranteed flavour... whatever anyone says
At Generation B, we combine modern techniques, seasonal produce and culinary creativity to ensure that every dish is as delicious as it is healthy.
Are all these options boring or limited? You really have to discover the gluten-free alternatives that exist, try them and make up your own mind. Ours is crystal clear 😜.
